Robinson Crusoe

WHAT What is the main theme, story or key idea?
In Robinson Crusoe, players are castaways on an uninhabited island and must survive through completing missions, warding off dangers and constructing shelters.
HOWHow do the key mechanics and ideas work?
Each player will take the role of either the cook, carpenter, explorer or soldier; all of whom have unique special abilities. To win the game, players will have to cooperatively work together to reach the scenario goal within the set number of days. If players don’t meet their goal or if one player dies; the whole team loses. There are many phases to play including the event phase, where an event card is drawn, the production phase, where resources are gained, and the action phase, whereby action pawns are placed on tiles which provide perks and resources.
WHY Why is Robinson Crusoe worth your time?
Robinson Crusoe is an enjoyable cooperative experience that really shines due to the addition of seven different scenario missions each of which has new goals, objectives and cards.
